Chrysoprase is a green  cryptocrystalline gemstone variety of quartz, the green colour does vary bu most common are an apple mint green colour which is caused by the inclusion of the metal nickel within the mineral. Used in a variety of creations from jewellery to interior decor, centuries ago it was a highly prized mineral found in luxury creations.
